About JPG to DXF

Turning a photo of a sketch, a scanned drawing or a JPG logo into a DXF lets you cut or route it. The trick is ignoring JPEG noise and paper texture, which is what the Black & white style does.

The DXF opens in LightBurn, RDWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, VCarve and most other CAD and CAM software.

Tips for the best result

Scanned drawings

Scan in black and white at 300 DPI or higher, with even lighting. Shadows become shapes.

Too many tiny shapes?

Increase contrast before uploading, or use Logo with 2 colours.
